who am i ?
At my core, I'm just a girl with a love for her camera and a really big dream. I've lived 29 beautiful years around the sun, and I am happily married to my best friend. I am a coffee addict, a nerd, a music lover, a book lover, and will also probably bring up my cats or dog in any given conversation at some point upon meeting me. Theatre was a very big part of my life as a child, and my big personality reflects that.
I received my first camera at 11 years old, an angsty preteen with a love for terrible filters and making cringy music videos with my friends and siblings. I began to take a more serious approach to photography when I turned 19, during which I completed my AA at PHSC along with my teaching prerequisites, with the idea that I would hop right in to a college teaching program. However, my heart had other plans.

My vision and art style has changed over the years, which has led me to where I am now. I love playing with light in harsh and dark environments, which can create something vivid and ethereal or dark and moody. I would generally classify my style as true-toned and editorial, with a touch of whimsy. With 10 years of professional experience in the industry, I can confidently say I have learned so much over the years, and I am very proud of where my artwork today. I still learn something new every single day, and continue to grow as both an artist and an individual.
Why should you book with me? I want to capture your story. I don't want to 'just take a picture', I want to invoke the emotions you felt while being photographed, every time you look back upon your portraits. I want to capture grandmas smile lines, and the small glances exchanged on your wedding day. I want to capture the tiny hands that won't be so tiny for very much longer, and the embrace you first took after saying 'yes' to your forever.
